On the island of Sifnos, Tressé discovered a unique expression of Greek ceramics.
In the heart of this Cycladic island, we met the Lembesis family, who have carried on an ancestral craft for five generations.
Their hands shape clay with timeless grace, creating ceramics that tell a story—one of Greek homeware, both sun-drenched and poetic.
There is a distinctive atmosphere in the workshop.
An enveloping calm, punctuated by the sound of hands working the clay. Here, time seems to slow down. The gestures are repeated, but never quite the same. Each piece bears the mark of a particular gaze, a mood, a moment.
